Our Story

From a small gathering to a growing ministry

Expect Faith Center began as a small gathering of believers hungry for clear teaching, genuine fellowship, and a place where families could thrive. From the beginning, the ministry was designed not as a traditional church, but as a center — a welcoming space where people could learn, heal, connect, and discover the life God intended for them.

As the ministry grew, Expect Faith Center embraced a modern approach to outreach, blending strong biblical foundations with digital accessibility, so spiritual growth is available throughout the week — not just on Sundays.

Today, Expect Faith Center stands as a vibrant, Christ-centered ministry shaped by its beginnings in 2018 and strengthened by every life it touches. The heart of the church remains the same: to help people live with expectation, walk in purpose, and build a life grounded in faith.

What We Believe About the Church

We believe the church is the body of Christ, called to gather, grow, serve, and make disciples.

Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.1 CORINTHIANS 12:27

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds … not giving up meeting together.HEBREWS 10:24–25

Our convictionThe church is not a building — it is a living community of believers united in Christ, committed to worship, fellowship, discipleship, and service.

II.Baptism

What We Believe About Baptism

We believe baptism is an outward expression of an inward transformation — a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ.

Repent and be baptized … in the name of Jesus Christ.ACTS 2:38

We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death …ROMANS 6:4

Those who accepted his message were baptized.ACTS 2:41

Our convictionBaptism symbolizes dying to the old life and rising into new life in Christ. It is an act of obedience, identity, and testimony.

III.The Resurrection

What We Believe About the Death, Burial, and Resurrection of Jesus

We believe Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day — securing our salvation and the hope of eternal life.

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.1 CORINTHIANS 15:3–4

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.ROMANS 10:9

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.1 PETER 1:3

Our convictionThe death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ are the foundation of the Gospel. Through His sacrifice we are forgiven, and through His resurrection we have the assurance of new life and eternal hope.
